The Scammells App has been designed with buyers in mind, enabling you to search for items, create alerts, watch catalogued items, leave absentee bids, and most importantly, bid online. All this, from anywhere in the world.

Our Auction guru Jason has written a guide for all buyers on how to bid at auction, the in’s and out’s and some handy tips on researching your purchases and some insider knowledge rarely shared by Auctioneers. Each week we upload our up to date catalogue with descriptions and photos of everything up for auction at Scammells. You can search for the items you’re after, as well as see every upcoming auction for the next three months, including our Monday estate auction of 1,000 lots each and every week.
To Register for online bidding
Online registration gives you access to the online bidding room, allows you leave absentee bids, create watch lists and
assigns you a permanent number, yours for life. There is no need to register again, even if you attend one of our auctions in person.
The same registration gives you access to our free smart phone and tablet app (search Google Play Store and Apple App Store for Scammells).
Registration is free, and you only need a valid credit card. The card is used for verification only and you are not billed for your purchases.
Your credit card will be verified with a charge of $1, which is then returned instantly. This protects you, us and our buyers from fraudulent bidders.
We do not have access to your credit card details, nor do we retain this information. Auction Mobility uses secure third party merchant Stripe to manage this information.
Auction Terms and Conditions
We love what we do, and as such, you won’t get better auction service anywhere in Adelaide. As with most things though, there are rules and guidelines to auctions. By law, we are required to work within these rules, which then helps to ensure a better experience for you. We recommend having a read through our terms and conditions which include information on buyers premium, packaging and shipping, and transport and storage.
